Even though we make our facility as comfortable as possible for pets during their visits, some pets just prefer having their veterinary appointment in the comfort of their own home.
Within a 25-mile radius of our clinic, we will send a veterinarian and veterinary team member to your home to take care of your pet’s medical needs.
These services include:
- Physical exams
- Vaccines
- Heartworm tests
- Bloodwork and other diagnostic tests
- Nail trims
- Administering medications or fluids for you
- Pain management, including laser therapy
- End-of-life care, including compassionate hospice care and euthanasia
Which pets can benefit from house call visits?
Just about any pet can do well with a house call visit, but there are some that may benefit more at your home than they do in our clinic, including:
- Pets with severe anxiety at a vet office
- Arthritic pets, or dogs who have trouble jumping into the car
- Cats who are very difficult to get into carriers
- Households with multiple pets
- Pets who get carsick
- Pets undergoing euthanasia, who would be more comfortable in their home environment rather than a vet office
